1. Overview

Welcome to Globez ("Globez," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Globez mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Globez. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts and authentication

Globez uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Usernames must be unique and may be changed subject to availability and platform rules.

4. The Service

Globez is a public, real-time chat service that includes a Nationwide room and an optional Nearby room. Nearby participation is optional. When Nearby is enabled, your city and state may be visible to other users. Your precise location is never displayed.

5. User content

You are responsible for the content you post, including messages, replies, and profile information ("User Content"). By posting content, you represent that you have the right to do so and that your content complies with these Terms.

You grant Globez a limited license to store, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the operation of the Service.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Post illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, or hateful content.
• Spam, flood, or disrupt conversations.
• Share personal or sensitive information of others.
• Attempt to evade moderation actions or safeguards.
• Use the Service for commercial solicitation or advertising.
• Share links or malicious content (links may be blocked in-app).

7. Moderation and enforcement

Globez maintains active human moderation. Reported content is reviewed manually. Enforcement actions may include warnings, message removal, temporary mutes, temporary bans, or permanent bans.

Moderation actions are taken at our discretion to protect the safety and integrity of the Service. While users may contact support to inquire about moderation actions, Globez is not obligated to provide an appeal process or reverse enforcement decisions.

8. User controls

Users may block other users to stop seeing their messages and may report messages for review.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties regarding uptime, availability, or uninterrupted access.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Globez shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to user-generated content, moderation actions, service interruptions, or loss of data.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Globez operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
